POP3 client

HI, 

Using .procmailrc file, I moved all the mail-boxes from
/var/spool/mail/$LOGNAME to
user's respective home directory by defining 'MAILDIR' .

But the problem is that, if I telnet on port 110(i.e.POP port) , I couldn't
read the mail as it check the mails only in /var/spool/mail directory. How
can I override the said problem.
