Uhm, if the ONLY thing you're doing on the other "gateway" system is forwarding the mail, then in your user home directory, create a .forward file and put your "workstation" email address in it (that's all), perms of 644 or the like.

If you don't have an addressable email host on hour home network (which sort of requires a static IP, and an SMTP server), then you're going to run into problems _forwarding_ messages to it - whether by a simple .forward or via procmail. In that case, running FETCHMAIL (not part of the procmail program set) on your home machine (presuming it is a *nix box) to retrieve messages from your ISP mailbox is what you want to do. You'll need to look around for info on fetchmail - that's a separate program entirely.

Don't forget that you can search the list archives via the link provided at <http://www.procmail.org>.

Can anyone provide an example configuration that I can work from so
that I can process incoming mail and read it on my workstation ?

More information about your workstation is really necessary - as indicated above, it may not be possible to simply forward messages to it. What OS platform is it running, for instance (for all we know, your "workstation" is a windows box)?
