Hi,
here're some more details, which make me more curious. From e-mail
headers of those requed messages (after I got them) it looks sendmail is
requeing sending the mail and procmail is probbaly only hanging on on
other end of pipe to read the status from sendmail. But the loop looks to
be on sendmail's side, not procmail requeing the message!

My .procmailrc contains:
:0c
| /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -oi mmokrejs(_at_)natur(_dot_)cuni(_dot_)cz

Hi,
I'm using procmail to filter e-mail messages. I'm piping messages to
"sendmail -t -oi user(_at_)foo(_dot_)bar"

Unfortunately, procmail somehow get back some error code I think, so it
reques the message, i.e repipes again. Sendmail after time connects to foo.bar
machine and the message gets delivered by recipient. However, I get the
message
duplicated, although the rate is like one per hour.

I've asked some weeks ago on the procmail list, but no
reply yet. The machine is running Sendmail 8.8.6 and is out of my control. ;-)

  "mailq" command gives me:
