RE: how to keep mail from being stored

2002-02-13 05:33:22
Before I posted the question, I tried taking that out and the message still
showed up....I must have messed up something else.

While I was typing the message, I almost said that I wanted to send the
message to /dev/null.....that got me thinking....so I added a line
"DEFAULT=/dev/null" just before this recipe starts and that works.

At 21:59 2002-02-12 -0500, Jerry A. Shenk did say:
I have an auto-responder set up on a mail account on my box.
Currently, all
mail that comes to echo1 gets stored. I'd like to NOT store them and
instead respond and dump the message into the bit bucket. How can I do
that?

I presume you don't understand the impact that _(c)opying_ the
message has?
