At 15:50 2002-02-27 +0100, Gilles N did say:
alias: "|/usr/bin/procmail -m /etc/procmail.rules/alias.rc
\"user(_at_)domain(_dot_)com\"" in /etc/postfix/aliases
FTR, the dir that procmail has a special affinity for is /etc/procmailrcs/
-- see the description of '-m' in 'man procmail'. That shouldn't be the
cause of the problem you're having, but I think rather than creating
_other_ dirs, you might want to consider using the standard one.
And
:0
! $1
at the end of my alias.rc
Any idea?
Check your procmail logfile (if you don't already have one, you should
configure to add one and enable VERBOSE logging), then send a test
message. See what it is evaluating $1 as and what is happening at the
point it should be forwarding (if it is even getting that far in your rcfile).
