Thanks for the help!
My sys admin solved the problem for me. He discovered that sendmail was
owned by "bin" and not by "root". That solved it.

The recipe seems okay, a little sloppy maybe.
What do you mean by sloppy? Not quoting the dots or anything else I
should pay attention to?
The kernel-lock problems occure for all my recipes, except the forwarding
one above. The error messages all look like this:

procmail: Locking "00lists.lock"
procmail: Assigning "LASTFOLDER=00lists"
procmail: Opening "00lists"
procmail: Acquiring kernel-lock
