Maybe that has been fixed recently.  My version reports no error.

I suppose that depends on your definition of "recently."

If you are using a version of procmail earlier than 3.14 --
well, don't write this list about putative bugs without
disclosing such a consequential fact.  (And get a newer
version of procmail!!)
