What I'm trying to find is a way to do that for /etc/procmailrc so
messages for every user are automatically bypassed. My
/etc/procmailrc is currently more then 45,000 lines long..
Why?
To cut down on spam. It's excessive but my servers are hit with 100,000
messages a day
thanks to spammers. I know a lot needs to be cleaned up but it does stop so
much more
then spamassassin lets slip through.
What is this MAILDIR normally? Let's assume "/home/$LOGNAME/mail".
# /etc/procmailrc
DROPPRIVS = 'yes'
SHELL = '/bin/sh'
MAILDIR = "/home/$LOGNAME/mail"

Big_Messages
For the /etc/procmailrc what I want is a rule that will stop the processing of
big
messages right at the top, for everyone. Then deliver the messages to
/var/spool/mail/USERNAME
