And my MTA uses SMTP Auth to match a username/password pair to set the
"Sender:" header to match the "From:" address.
It took a while to get it all set up because I'm subscribed to 10 or 12
lists and use a different email address for each. Plus other addresses for
family correspondence, various work related addresses, etc. About 20 - 25
different email addresses total.
Do you use Exim or Postfix for it?
I use courier-mta and like to do the same but since I do not use this
Server alone, I have over 170 E-Mail-Adresses only from <freenet.de>.
Currently i have setup a "fake" account on <freenet.de> which I use
for global smtp-auth but I do not realy like to see in all messages
this "fake" E-Mail-Address.
Do you know, HOW to do this in "courier-mta"?
