It's probably not wise to change ":" into ";". This will cause
confusion (similar to " ` " vs. " ' ").
I personally don't know what the difference really is - it's just an ascii
character used as a delimiter, and the line itself isn't very
human-readable at all...
From a programmer's perspective, there is a big difference between ":" and
";".
"ip4:192.0.2.25" implies "192.0.2.25 is somehow related to ip4". On the
other hand, "ip4;192.0.2.25" implies "ip4 and 192.0.2.25 are two items in a
list". So "ip4;mx;ptr" would look "right", but "ip4;192.0.2.25" does not.
This is very subjective, of course.
