Yes. Through several postfix upgrades (apt-get) and one upgrade of
postfix-policyd-spf and an initial bare Mail::SPF::Query from the SPF
website and then the .deb. Everything "just worked" for me after
following the instructions and satisfying the .deb dependencies.

I've never noticed a postconf item 'smtpd_policy_service_endpoint' in
the snapshot series. Do the Official Release series postfixen have a
'SMTPD_POLICY_README'?
Are you sure your perl scripts have all their dependencies met with
uptodate versions? (That may be a dumb question, I don't do much with
perl.)
