They could do better, but this is a start. SPF is a tool that gives a 
domain name owner the ability to assign credibility to e-mail sender 
ip addresses etc. It does not say anything about the credibility of 
the domain name owner...

If blueyonder doesn't implement additional measures to prevent 
outgoing spam, SPF just prevents other ISPs from spamming using 
blueyonder's e-mail addresses. This might remove some spam, which is 
a step in the right direction.

Also remember, that SPF isn't just something you put at the smtp-port 
on the receiving mail-server. It's also included in Spamassassin 
2.7/3.0, and my guess is, that SPF really catches on when this comes.

Spam won't be killed overnight - people have to learn to use SPF, smtp 
auth, port 25 filtering etc. first.
