Re: SPF will solve spam and punish spammers

I like the idea, but mine is more complex than you like because I want
to only publish the servers that write for the domain.

Ok, if I start using this for my self I suppose I need to know how to
unflag the domain then... you have a mechanism for this?

v=spf1 a +a:bifrost.agrussell.com +a:bifrost.hos.net +a:mimir.agrussell.com
+a:mimir.hos.net +a:aegir.agrussell.com +aegir.hos.net ?a:cartserver.com -all

Yes, I would flag it the first time you sent e-mail
to me. If it was spam your domain would then get blacklisted.
If several e-mails passed between your domain and mine without
that happening, I would stop flagging them.

Simple, eh? All of a sudden neither one of us has
to trust a third party to tell us whether we can talk to each other.

| Mine being:
| bouissou.net text "v=spf1 a:totor.bouissou.net
| a:mibadsl.dyndns.org ?mx ?ip4:213.228.0.0/24
| ?exists:%{i3r}.ext.%{l1r+-}._spf.%{d} -all exp=explain._spf.%{d}"
|
| Then you would "flag" my domain, however it has not ever sent a single
spam
| over 4 years of existence.
