RE: "RE: Which address of this list should auto-responses go?"

"To elaborate, if you send me an email, I have a right under the law to
respond to you. If I choose to respond with a robot, that is my choice.
You have a right not to e-mail me."

If I post to a list, I am not sending you an email. I am sending to the
list. If you receive an email from a list that was sent by me, it was not
sent to you by me. I have no control of who is on (or not on) the list.

But you do have control over whether you want your email to go out to list
members.

If you did not want me to reply, then you would not send to the list.

My point is very deep but simple. Essentially you are saying you want some
kind of content in my replies but not other kind of content. Thus you need a
content filter on your email.

I do not think content filter == spam filter because I think spam ==
unsolicited bulk email != bad content

But if I can change my replies to make you happy, then why not! So I
will...see below...

But, if you implement my idea, the problem will go away and you will have
happier customers.

Agreed and thanks. And I very happy AccuSpam can make mailing lists happier.

Thanks,
