| As I said, you can either obsess about your hatred of Microsoft or
| you can help solve the spam problem.
|
| I never said that it was a fair choice. But it is a choice.

Or, we can reject outright any attempt by a single vendor
to hijack what many consider to be the backbone of a shared commons.

The spam problem isn't really the problem.

On the mail servers I administer, I implement very strict checking
of BCP rfc-2505, and have allowed about 700 exceptions for those
who need to communicate with the businesses I deal with who flat
out refuse to do anything other than ignore best common practices.

Hence, for me, spam isn't really an issue.

But it certainly is for many others, and yes I've spent a lot of time
bringing all my machines into compliance with ietf bcps, and
building exceptions that let us continue to use the internet as intended.

There is NOTHING to even imply the Microsoft is acting in good faith,
and a LOT of history in strongly imply quite the opposite.

I am very pleased that the IETF has continued to lead the way
in protecting our common interests, and has not caved.

Keep up the good work all

Thanks very much for your efforts.
