I haven't use it in awhile. I could use the same utility for this
mailing
list. But I don't want to step on your toes. Do I have your permission
to
try this utility here? I won't bother if you are more
interesting in fixing
your program. :-)

If you would, it might be useful to run your utility for the spf-help list
(don't know if your subscribed there or not). No one is publishing
posting
stats for that list. There are a number of us who try to answer
everyone's
questions and your support effeciency metric would probably be relevant.
Also, if answering questions on spf-help started getting a person's name
on
a top posters list, that might incentivize more people to help answer
questions....

I ran it against MARID which I have coming in as separete subscription to
import into a conference exposed as a read only news conference). I am
doing to same thing now (collecting) with the SPF-DISCUSS and SPF-HELP so
we will have something to work with soon ;-)

The stats look good but I am double checking some things and need to clean
some things up. But it looks good. Notice how it was based on reporting
multiple conferences. Thats a configuration thing. I have to run it
separate time with different setup files to separate the report. So even
there are 3 forums indicated, only one MARID has mail to report on -
simulating one report to illustrate what it will look like.

Anyway, note how the near middle of the day on the middle of the week is the
busiest.:-) I forget, but I think I calculated the biggest thread by
depth, and the hottest thread by total.
