I consider pages with "contact forms" _instead_ of a
simple mailto link as a personal insult.
But you have an IQ over 100 :)
Still, contact forms exist for a good reason. In the days when mailto was
first born I found a very large percentage of people where mailto's didn't
work. Browser not configured correctly. Using mailto cut access off for a lot
of people. People using ccmail are probably still screwed.
As I play IS Tech to my family and friends I tend to block inbound and outbound
port 25 access and push everyone to use gmail or yahoo mail. Easier to keep
the virii at bay (or contain them should they get one).
Even today I couldn't remove the contact forms from my site - no doubt.
These "contacts forms" _never_ work.
_never_ ? They do seem to fail a lot but I know _one_ that works.
