lock out visually impaired people. Good idea... not!

The MD5 idea is cute, I trust that there are no collisions ;-)

I also trust that there are no collisions. Dare to bet on it? :-)

How about a bet if we do it with SHA1 instead of MD5 :)

BTW - doing it with MD5 is great idea!

It's either a convention or a law in DE, no more campaigning
on the day of the vote, no exit polls during the vote. In
the US with more than 3 timezones the situation is different, no
surprise.

That's why I wrote "in the sense you implied". That's not what William
meant. He most likely meant that any public communication concerning the
subject of the vote should be suspended during the election. At least
that's what he implied when he wrote a few postings earlier that this
mailing list should be shut down during the election period.

I never said that. I actually did mean something like DE law. We can
discuss other things but not the elections (that includes that both
privately and publicly we agree not to discuss who you should vote for
or make projections about winner). BTW - Its not just DE, almost every
country in Europe has similar laws and as far as I know same in Latin
America, Japan, Korea, etc.

US has elsection coverage policies that media has agreed to comply with on
their own but no official laws.
