Why wait? Just do it now. The name is already known ("SPF") and the format
is already known too (like the TXT RR). We need this RR not only for storing
the SPF record but also for publishing the DK, SES, IIM, etc. sender
policies.
Currently Yahoo has no good place to publish their DomainKey policy. They
now publish it in a TXT RR at _domainkey.yahoo.com. They should be able to
publish it in a SPF RR at yahoo.com:
yahoo.com. TXT "v=dk1 t=y\; o=~\; n=http://antispam.yahoo.com/domainkeys";
