I just tested `nslookup .` watching my modem LEDs - *SCREAM*
Now that is really stupid. I still hope that the first DNS
server did the right thing without bothering the root servers.
What a truly bad idea.
It's a hack, like using TLD .invalid where some syntax insists
on <addr-spec>. For Bruce's clean From-optional idea we need
your time-machine - or is it limited to 2003 ? <g> Bye, Frank
P.S.: I just got a PM with an improved "forwardmaster plan",
as far as I can tell it this should work to bypass SPF (per
user) where necessary: <http://wiki.outboundindex.net/VarA>
Maybe add this link to the new SPF site... I guess there are
now enough better ideas than the old op=trusted, so I'll kill
the latter from the next draft-spf-6-3-options unless somebody
cries "no".
