Julian has requested webmaster volunteers, but I would like to solicit

I think it is very important that we both bring together the various
SPF projects (website, mailing lists, support trackers, etc.), but
also to decentralize it so that if someone gets hit by a vegetable
truck, others can easily step forward and keep the SPF project moving
forward.

The website can certainly be distributed, things like mailing lists
and problem trackers may be harder to do, but mirroring the data and
configs so that someone can step forward would be very useful.

For backup purposes, I plan on installing a backup software I wrote that
backs up all files on the system into an encrypted tarball, minus those
that can be restored from the Debian package management system. This way,
a backup tarball can be as small as a few megabytes.

Since I think mirrors would have to replicate the software, the
configuration, plus the content, it would probably best to also use the
backup solution for mirroring, perhaps coupled with rsync. Like the main
site, a mirror would have to either be completely dedicated to mirroring
the SPF website, or provide a chroot or some sort of virtual machine
(VServer[1], UML[2], etc.).

Alternative proposals are of course welcome.
