JFTR, Resent-Sender, Resent-From, Sender, or From in this
order, but not Reply-To. Otherwise of course ACK, bye, Frank

All pre-existing prior art "technology" which no patent can hitch a ride on
under the MARKUS analysis patent examination principles. The problem?
This level of examination is not required any more for patent publishing. It
is assumed the patentee will do it.

In addition, in fact using REPLY-TO (which you can't for SPF1) is probably
the best item to check using CBV because in the EYES of the user, this is
the ultimate contact address if the user wanted to respond to a message.

Microsoft's whole idea behind SenderID is that they think the user is more
interested in *seeing*" a proper FROM:. That seeing a proper FROM: in the
display is more important.

Well, that's cool, but ultimately after it is PROPER, it is the reply-to:
address, if it exist, where the user will contact, not From:.

This is one of those things that makes the patent so silly. But you can't
use the Reply-To header for SPF1. You would have to use something else
like a C/R or CBV method.
