You don't even need forwarding _with_ sender rewriting.  You just
need to know who your forwarders are. 

However, braindead SPF checkers *are* a big problem right now.
People can't even seem to handle "forwarding" from their own
secondary MX, let alone the half dozen miscellaneous aliases
they've created over the years.
