Hi all.

if the council is taking nominations for the election officer, I nominate

Very good point, thanks. I was going to ask for volunteers for the
election officer later today, but now I see that probably (1) the officer
should be nominated just like the council candidates, and (2) I should
have asked for nominations just after the election was announced on
Monday.
So please submit nominations for the election officer. A person can be
nominated for both election officer and council candidate, but can only
accept for one of them. Nominations für election officer need not be
seconded, but seconds and other discussion will be taken into account by
the council when appointing the office.
Nominations for election officer should be accepted before coming Sunday
(sorry for the short advance notice).
Julian.
