List-Post can not be used as a replacement for List-Id.

ACK, that was about our issue here with the posting address
as (syntactically invalid) List-Id.

Gmane should recognize which posts going from gmane will
be sent to email list and which ones to newsgroup.

Anything not posted to "junk" goes to a mailing list. The
GMaNe model is "treat all lists like moderated newsgroups",
the list-address is the "moderator" at this step, standard
operation for moderated newsgroups.

If the list accepts the submitted mail GMaNe gets it back,
does some mail2news magic about X-Posts and References if
only In-Reply-To is available, and finally it appears in
the newsgroup corresponding to the list.

The system now is that all actively used header fields
must be registered with IANA:

Feel free to register "Lines" for mail. I'd say it's a bit
pointless to bother with it before the news header fields are
registered. The next USEFOR draft (-07) will have some proper
IANA registration templates (incl. "Lines").

"Lines" clearly belongs to historic use with usenet - but
it does not belong to email.

It's one way how moderated newsgroups can work: Take article,
add MAIL FROM server, RCPT TO moderator, send. The moderator
adds "Approved" and injects it into NetNews. Or forwards it
to next moderator for X-Posts in more than one moderated NG.
Or rejecets it. USEPRO will propose a better procedure with
a MIME type, but for obvious reasons GMaNe would stick to the
old procedure, mailing lists are not really moderated NGs. ;-)
