More or less. My thinking on this is that we need it to be:
1. Extension advertised in SMTP that specifies maximum number of
lines that server will accept at one time, i.e.
250-ETRN
250-HEAD LABEL MAXLINES=20
2. Command that can be executed to send several lines of email
data a time (can be repeated):
MAIL FROM:...
250 ok
RCPT TO: ...
250 ok
HEAD label=tracefields lines=3
Received:...
250 ok
HEAD lines=10
From: me(_at_)(_dot_)(_dot_)
To: ...
250 ok
DATA
