For old SES used oly to block bounce spam, correct. However, the new SES
that
provides an authentication server is certainly a sender auth method.
Both new/old SES or BATV could be use in conjunction with exists: as one
way to deal with the SPF forwarding 'problem'. So there is potential for a
direct tie to SPF.
