I ignore trailing nulls. In Windows, everything above the Win32 API layer do
this automatically. At the Win32 layer, it comes naturally to strip trailing
nulls since strings are generally null terminated.
I don't think this is OK. Isn't DNS binary transparent?
I don't really care what windows does; as far as I'm concerned I have
to look for the, nonexistent, toplevel domain "com\000".
