What I would like to see though, is Saxonica and Microsoft working
together to develop a plugable XSL infrastructure, like is available
in the Java world. So when XSL 3.0 comes around, one can swap out
implementations without having to rewrite code.
I have a somewhat similar request for the Xalan processor, it currently
supports XSLT 1.0
Or even if there was a way to use the Saxon XSLT 2.0 processor along with JSTL
XML tags it would allow us to begin using the features of XSLT 2.0 in the
work environment.
I'm planning to use the Saxon XSLT 2.0 processor to practice the features of
XSLT 2.0 on my personal time, thanks for upgrading it.
