Most people will (should) NOT have SMTP listeners. Most people will
configure their MUAs to send outgoing mail through their ISP's mail
server.
Yes, that's right - however most people will not use fetchmail but will
rather use clumsy solutions involving fetching mail with their MUAs.
So, fetchmail users are a little "advanced" - either in in their
requirements and/or in their knowledge. And configuring an MTA actually
isn't that hard - at least it's not for Postfix. And also most people
will use packages from their distribution and thus the MTA will arrive
pre-configured.
