Show the *exact* error message which you get back from fetchmail, and we
might be able to comment.

Brian.'

I'd happily include the output from fetchmail -v, but I don't have it at the moment (sometimes it's a socket error I recall). It seems to croak on one message, and then not download any of the others, even though they're new.

Is this behavior reminiscent of any known problem or bug? Is there a typical culprit and remedy? My fetchmails are run as daemons and are set to poll our isp's pop3 Imail server every 10mins. - there are no options in .fetchmailrc - as above. I have around 12 users. fetchmail seems to then pass the msgs to sendmail/spamass-milter/clamav which my users query via qpopper with their Outlook clients.

I will post output fetchmail -v output next time this happens. I appreciate any speculation in the meantime!

Thanks,
-M
