Re: large messages

One possible short-term solution is to make the report available via the
mail server for RFCs and such, which already breaks up large files.  The
requirement at your end would be to have two mailing lists, one which
received the report and one which received an announcement of its
availability.

However, my personal opinion is to tell them to fix their mailer.
