I have sympathy with a lot of Mark's comments.
Two more:
- ISO 20202 and Mnemonic both need parameters.
The current RFC-MNEM draft places them into new headers, which I think
is a bad idea.
For ISO 2022 you need to tell in the HEADER (I think) which IR numbers
you will use. The BNF for the TEXT type does not allow any
parameters at all.
- We need a statement saying that EDI belongs under APPLICATION.
I am not ready to define it yet, but it will come, and should NOT be
mistakenly placed under TEXT or BINARY.
