The problem with forwarders using third party services' submission
servers is that the user would need to give out their login details -
which is a big issue. Maybe users should be able to create extra sets of
authentication details for their submission servers, but ONLY for mail
going to their own email addresses, for forwarding servers to use.
That's approximately what Yahoo did. See earlier message.
I still think it's unlikely that many people will find it usable, though.
