No, you are wrong. Digital signatures are used to assert
identity. Digital signatures are verifiable and unforgable.
Digital signatures mean that software you didn't write performed a
mathematical operation you didn't understand, and produced output you
can't verify. (Yes, I would describe myself that way, too.)
Even if you believed them, you still have no idea what they mean.
