As a Canadian, I see the American understanding of "free speech" as
a religious issue, and one which will never be addressed outside of a
religious forum.
But AOL does have the right to not listen except that they are also
purporting to provide their customers with access to the Internet
and they are not.
And that's a matter of contract between AOL and their customers. If
those customers have no choice or alternative, then it's a matter for
the local justice system.
Either way, it has nothing to do with the net.
