Ok, then why not retronym DNSBL to "DNS Bulletin List"?

Bulletin implies purely informational, timely, possibly volatile, less
than fully authoritative, neutral, announcement, etc.

Also, the word "bulletin" is similar (e.g., bolletino) in at least
Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Russian (basically a
cyrillic transliteration) though I'll leave it to others to verify
that. But it seems to be a latin-based, sometimes loan, word in many
languages with the same meaning; dim of Latin "bulla", as in "papal
bull", an edict, document or voting slip.
