Oddly, most of this thread isn't really relevant to the subject line.
The reason for asking the question is that we don't currently have widely
published SPF records. If we did, then we wouldn't need IP address
reputation for either IPV4 or IPV6. We'd just need the answer to two
questions:
1. Does that IP address have permission to emit mail from the sender domain?
2. Do I want email from that sender? If the sender doesn't have a good
reputation, perhaps the domain does? If the reputation is neutral, I'll
take a good look at the content and the delivery rate.
Even the above isn't relevant to the OP, who just wanted to diagnose a
delivery failure - but that is likely to have been a symptom of some
anti-spam measure that wasn't domain reputation related.
