What is an "SSP client"?
Something that initiates the SSP protocol.
So, the sysadmin who creates the SSP DNS record?
How does this relate to the original reference to an MUA?
Dave, this is hardly rocket science. Is an SMTP client similarly
confusing?
Mike, you are missing some rather basic differences.
SMTP defines the construct of 'client' explicitly. SSP does not.
In addition, SMTP is a real-time exchange protocol and SSP is not. For that
matter, SSP is a very unusual style of "protocol" and so the client-server
construct does not have obvious application. I don't mean it can't be applied
but, as I said, the application isn't obvious.
In any event, I'm still not seeing how any of this relates to the original
reference to an MUA.
