By focusing on John and his single example we are looking at a tree and
not the forest. This may not be the best way to extrapolate recommended
best practices.
I agree except for one thing: mailing list traffic doesn't even make it
to .02% for the 20-80 rule. The proper thing is to ignore pleas for outlier
turd polishing.
