Actually, I didn't know, which is why I asked.

I've used Kleopatra once or twice to see how it worked, and I've never
used KMail or GpgOl.

But if you dislike my example with a folder, which I chose to underline that 
compression is needed.

I'm sorry that I gave you the impression that I disliked your example.

Please ignore it and respond to the other points made 
in this thread like compression for mails or just replace "folder" in my 
example with "file" and there you go.

I find this kind of discussion about my example unhelpful and distracting on 
this list. If you want to further discuss this please do it off list.

Your tone makes it sounds like I've personally attacked you.  I'm not
sure where I did that.  If so, I apologize and I will try and keep at
least my side of the discussion more focused on the technical
discussion.
