Bruce,
The "surviving" LMAP proposals (CSV, MTAMARK, SPF)
do very different things, SPF covers some older ideas.
They all suffer from similar problems involving the issues
described in previous messages:
1. conflating sending and receiving
How does CSV conflate sending and receiving?
2. failure to understand fundamental properties of SMTP, e.g.
MAIL FROM remains unchanged during transport
CSV does not use MailFrom.
3. attempts to assign a relationship between domain names
and IP addresses for sending email; there is no such
relationship
etc.
Oh? Please cite the specific bits of CSV specification that asserts or
requires
a non-existent domain-name/IP-Address relationship.
