How about adding some filters to the mailer?
I've implemented this on other lists, to
majordomo's 'taboo headers' pattern list:
/^Subject: Antigen found/
/^Subject: Virus Notification/
/^Subject: Virus Alert/
The list maintainer gets the error message
(taboo header found), and can notify the list
_gracefully_.
