ORSC is ignorable. Not because it doesn't matter but because it is
independent. It has always been independent, and it is entirely
reasonable for it to remain so.

So, ignoring it is simply to respect its independence.

When you ignore pedestrians in the street while driving and kill them,
you have not done what is called "A good thing".

The same kind of logic applies to other areas of life where
collisions may occur.

This issue was dealt with (somewhere) in the US Constitution by
making it unconstitutional for even the US Govt to engage in a
"taking away" without reasonable compensation.

So, I suspect ignorance (of the concept of, or the fact of an act of
taking away) will not suffice to make it right to "take away" from
someone in ignorance.

Just a little critical additional logic to consider.

The fact that ORSC does not mind being ignored by a lot of people
does not mean that you are welcome to run us down in the cross walk.

I trust that you were not issuing a license to kill;-)... But it is
a close call.

Cheers...\Stef

PS: I regret not being able too somehow warp this into a technical issue...\s
