Maybe we should limit list participation to people who can refrain from
writing entire posts that are nothing more than thinly veiled personal
attacks against people with whom they disagree?  That way the only people
left would be those prepared to discuss the topic at hand--people free of
any puerile compulsion to defame their colleagues.  What do you think?
