Spam reduction. We apply the rule to all of our mailing lists, and it is very
helpful.
I don't think that's what Hector asked.
The question isn't "do we block email from non-members";
the question seems to be "we used to reply to the sender with a
notification that their message was blocked due to not being a
list member, with options to wait or cancel; did we disable those
notifications?"
At least that's how I read it.
