I won't cut all the meetings but for I would encourage to have some (or
all) interim WG meetings fully online.

We tried once in sidr, it didn't work very well but I am sure that we
can improve it.

People is asking how to evolve the IETF, well, one possibility is to
start thinking global and to reach more people outside the common venues.

Another is to not have any (physical) meetings, ever. I've heard
all the arguments against this approach for years, and I think they're
all oudated: every kind of interaction that's possible in a physical
meeting is now possible in an online one. It's simply a matter of
having the will to commit to the technology and to work through the
(no doubt numerous) issues that will surface while using it.

This facilitates more involvement. It dramatically cuts costs.
It avoids the hassles and risks of travel, including the increasingly
privacy-hostile intrusions of various governments. It's more flexible.
It allows near-global participation regardless of geography, schedule,
budget, etc.

And more than anything, it would show that the IETF is actually committed
to, you know, *using the Internet*.
