That is, assuming that the implicit thesis in the above is correct.
Namely, that attendee fee income exceed the meeting costs that also
include VAT such that they can be later recovered. I'm not sure we
can know the answer to that question just yet, so I'm not certain that
the VAT thing is something that should influence any decision to
return.
In the grand scheme of things, it's less than the room price for one night
(unless you're staying at some particularly cheap motel, and those are more
available in the US).
