Why would any private individual want to get an IPv6 address?
With DHCP IPv4 + NAT (on your Home router) and even more so with CGN,
you may have at least a vague chance that your ID doesn't stick out
of every IP datagram like a sore thumb.  With IPv6, you're stripped
naked for traffic analysis by every governmental agency worldwide, no matter
how strong you encrypt your traffic.

Er, your ISP-based IPv4 address often sticks out plenty even if your
host is behind a NAT. Just look at the headers for gmail SMTP users,
for example. As far as having the Bundespolizei at your door
goes, that is sufficient.

Most private individuals simply don't care, anyway. They do care
if they can't get connected at all, which is why we need to move
beyond 32 bits in the first place.
