Well, i thought i had heard this being a criteria in the past. Maybe
i am mistaken.
Rumour has it that in India, unless you plan to get employed, you apply
for a tourist visa, not for a business visa. And you don't ever mention
"security" in the application. -- Everyone I met that applied for a
business visa to attend a conference was only allowed to stay for a
couple of weeks (vs months for tourism), paid more, and the process was
way more painful.
*sigh* I am happy to plan based on rumors as long as i find someone
stupid enough to take on the responsibility for the consequences.
